Delete your account and associated data

The Android app Floaty Touch on Google Play is published by VietByte. The app does not use an email/password account. Cloud features (Ask Screen AI and online translation) may associate activity with an anonymous device identifier. This page explains how to request deletion of server-held data.

How to request deletion

Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: Floaty Touch — Data deletion request. Include your Google Play account email and approximate dates you used Ask Screen or cloud translation. We may send a short verification message before completing the request.

Data we delete

After verification, we delete VietByte server-side records tied to your device identifier, including Ask Screen sessions, cloud translation logs, AI credit balances, and related server records. Local data on your device is not removed — uninstall the app or clear app storage to wipe it.

Data we may keep

Google Play transaction records, Firebase aggregated statistics, and minimal records needed for fraud prevention or legal compliance may be retained. We do not sell your personal information.

Timing

We respond to verified requests within a reasonable time and complete deletion within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law.
